Chicago Dip

At our church, we have little parties and get togethers, like game nights. At these functions its not really a sit down meal as much as, its a grazing time. You grab a little plate play a hand of cards, socialize around the food table for a while and go back for a few more hands of canasta or around of chicken foot dominoes. This dip is perfect for these occasions.



10 oz PKG of Frozen Spinach (thawed and drained)
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Mayonnaise
3/4 Cup Chopped Onions
2 TSP Dried Parsley
1 TSP Lemon Juice
1/2 TSP Seasoning Salt
1lb Loaf of Round Crusty Italian Bread



In a Large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the bread. Mix until well blended, then refrigerate. Cut a Circle out of the top of the bread and scoop out the inside. Tear the inside pieces for dipping. Spoon the dip into the bread bowl and served accompanied by the pieces of bread for dipping.
