This hearty soup can be made on the stove or in a crockpot, allowing you to be able to mix this up and cook it during the worship service. If you do have leftovers(which is rare) you can refrigerate or freeze this soup for a later date.

5- lbs Potatoes
1- 8oz Package Sour Cream
1- TSP Salt
1- TSP Pepper
1- TSP Creole Seasoning
1- Yellow Onion
1- 12oz Package Bacon
1- Qt Milk
1- 8oz package Shredded Cheese

 

Directions:

Peel and Cut potatoes. Cook potatoes, in large soup pot, till done. Do Not Drain. Add Sour Cream and milk to potatoes. While the potatoes are cooking; cook the bacon and onion in a skillet till onion is clear. Add cheese, salt, pepper, creole seasoning, cooked bacon and cooked onions to the soup pot. Stir Well.
