The Bacon Cheese Ring is an amazing appetizer that makes you look like a super chef, with very little effort. This recipe is perfect for holiday parties, football watching parties, baby and bridal showers, and small groups. I have also made this recipe as a cheese ball because I forgot the pan and was making it at church. If you make it in ball form, make sure to finely chop the pecans.  Stretch and I love anything with bacon and cheese so this is right up our alley. Made one of these for Stretch’s birthday Monday. it went over so well. i am making another for Thanksgiving.

cream cheese and mayo. Stir until it gets firm, it may not hold if it is not firm at this point.

Grease a tiara pan, pie pan or bundt pan. I used a bundt because I like the shapes. Sprinkle edges with pecans. And put in cheese mixture. I refrigerate until ready to serve however the recipe I have does not say you have to. Flip the ring unto a platter and place strawberry preserves in the middle. Serve with butter crackers or pretzels.

Smalls and I made this recipe for Stretch’s Birthday party. This,  corn salad, baked beans, Cream of Cilantro Soup, rolls, double the Tater Tot Casserole and the ultimate chocolate cake fed 18 people.
