┬áThis year for Christmas Eve super we decided to have everyone make there favorite finger foods or appetizers. So I dug out this old recipe that I really enjoy,not only eating but also making. If you are like me and love cheese, bacon and mushrooms, you can’t go wrong with this recipe.

Ingredients:exodus-33-14

2 – 12 0z. pkgs. white button mushrooms (break off the stems)
1 pkg.(6-8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tbsp. sour cream
8 slices of bacon, cooked then chopped
1/2 of a small sweet onion (3 tbsp.) diced (fry in a little bit of the bacon grease)
1 cup shredded mild cheddar
1 tsp. garlic salt
Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella

Directions:

 

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, bacon, onion, and garlic salt all together. Stuff the caps of the mushrooms as liberally as you like. Place the stuffed mushrooms in a greased baking dish or pan, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the mushrooms. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. When done baking, set your oven to broil. Cover each mushroom with mozzarella, and broil for 3 or 4 minutes, just long enough to brown the cheese on top. SCRUMPTIOUS!
