If you need to provide food for a large crowd, this is the dish for you. Assuming they are not vegetarians. My son, Smalls, was asked if he was a vegetarian once. He said. “I’m a Texan and in Texas we eat meat.” And yes we do love our meat and our meatballs. These hamballs will be one of those things that you make once and everyone will be asking who made these and can you bring them next time. I once did not have ham and used ground pork sausage. I made 75 and came home with zero. Stretch was a little upset he didn’t have leftovers. You can put these in a crock pot to keep warm.

1 lb Ham, ground
1 1/2 lbs. Ground Pork
2 cps fine dry Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs, well beaten
1 cp Milk
1 cp Brown Sugar, well packed
1 tsp Dry mustard
1/2 cp Cider Vinegar
1/2 cp Water

Combine first five ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into 1″ balls and arrange in a large baking or roasting pan. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring until dissolved. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour, basting frequently. Makes about 75.
