Orange salad is my sister’s favorite fruit salad. We have it at 90% of our family dinners. This is a creamy sweet fruit dessert.
- 2 cups water
- 1 large package orange jello
- Tuna sized can of crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Regular sized cool Whip
- 1 can mandarin oranges
Heat together sugar and pineapple until sugar dissolves. Add jello and water. Stir. Place in refrigerator and let congeal until thick but not hard set. Add small cool whip and drained mandarin oranges (save a few for garnish). Mix well. Refrigerate.
