This is a fabulous way to make beef or deer. I often make it with deer and it comes out fabulously. I will serve it with garlic green beans and mashed potatoes or chicken rice. Because I love to mix chili powder flavor with garlic. This is an easy recipe that can be thrown into the crockpot at lunch and its ready by supper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or deer
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 to 2 Tsps chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 Tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
  • 2 16 ounce cans kidney beans

Instructions:
Cook ground beef until brown, drain off fat. Combine beef with remaining ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Remove bay leaf.
Serves 4 to 6
