Crockpot Corned Beef And Cabbage
This hearty dish can be made on the stove or in a crockpot, allowing you to be able to mix this up and cook it during the worship service. If you do have leftovers(which is rare) you can refrigerate or freeze this dish for a later date.
- 4 1/2 lb Corned beef brisket (see note)
- 2 medium Onions, quartered
- 1 Cabbage head Cut in small wedges
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 3 tablespoons Vinegar
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
Combine ingredients in pot with cabbage on top.
Cut meat to fit, if necessary. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hours; high 6-7 hours or auto 6-8 hours. (12 hours works best to make the meat extremely tender).
