This fabulous soup can be made in a crockpot, allowing you to be able to mix this up and cook it during the worship service. If you do have leftovers(which is rare) you can refrigerate or freeze this soup for a later date.

Ingredients:

  • 8 turkey breasts slices *
  • 1/2 cup celery, sliced diagonally
  • 8 fresh mushrooms
  • 2 can chicken broth, 14 3/4 each
  • 1 tablespoon soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

 

Instructions:

*Turkey breasts; fresh, about 1 lb, cut in 1-inch cubes.
Place turkey cubes, celery, mushrooms, chicken broth, and soy sauce in Crock-pot. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours. Before serving, mix lemon juice and cornstarch together, mix into soup. Cover and cook on HIGH 20 to 30 minutes.
