I created Eating on the Grounds to share some of the wonderful recipes that my family and the loving people at my church have shared with me. My experience is that I cook five to seven suppers a week for my family. My husband and I work with a group of boys 4th grade to 12th grade every other Sunday after service and I cook lunch for them. When we camp with the church boys, I am “Cookie”, because I cook three meals a day. Our church has an average of two potlucks a month, sometimes we have one. There will always be one. Did I mention we are baptist? My husband(stretch), My son(Smalls) and I love the lord and wish only to spread God’s word and joy across the nations.
